Trau(me)
Handcrafted trough in birchwood.
The form is inspired by what happens when two different shapes meet and what occurs at the intersection between them. Much of the focus has been on creating a trough that appeals to more senses than just sight. The way the surface and shape change is a deliberate choice on my part to make the trough exciting to touch and feel.
The trough needs to be experienced, picked up, felt and smelled to really understand it the way it is intend to. It is a simple object, but its value is revealed when interacting with it. Viewing it with your eyes does not do it justice. Touch it. Experience it.
