The aim was to create a tool that lets you study more effectively, showing you when to work and when to take a break. The product allows the user to study without having to rely on a phone with a timer. There are three different modes to cater to different study techniques.
During the process I learned a lot by collaborating with international students. Figuring out how each others creative processes work and adapting that to something everyone in the group could benefit from was rewarding and yielded good results. In the process of making the product we experimented with both the physical shape and its effect on function and different manufacturing techniques. This amounted to a substantial amount of handmade mockups, 3d printed prototypes and cad models.
